Watch Out for The Chain of Lakes Manatees!

Are there manatees in the Chain of Lakes? Well, that’s the million-dollar question, isn’t it? Locals swear they’ve seen them, and who are we to argue? Maybe it was a manatee on vacation, checking out the Winter Haven vibe, or perhaps it was a well-fed otter that hit the gym one too many times. If you do spot a "manatee," snap a picture, because you'll instantly become a Winter Haven legend! Until then, paddle around with a watchful eye and a sense of humor—you never know what might pop up in these waters.
