Lake Otis is a small chain of three bodies of water. The public boat ramp is on the smaller part of lake Otis, Also commonly called little Otis. This smaller part is surrounded by the Winter Haven neighborhood of Interlochen, a gated community in the South East section of the city. homes are large, and beautiful around here. To the north is a small area the can be passed through to the larger section of Lake Otis. The larger are is surrounded by the Lakewood community homes just off Dundee Rd. and behind Winter Haven High School. This larger body offers five of The Cities architect Gene Leedys homes. On the eastern side you can view some wildlife and access to Lake Link. All three bodies are smaller and have pretty good wind blockage to offer calm paddling. Many beautiful sunsets to be seen here.
